bottles and more varieties of Whisky, some interesting Polish Vodkas
and a Moldavian Brandy..... and at last Absinthe....
Added 19th January 2010:
It's been a while since we updated this page, so, it's good to have
some quality additions.... six beers from Sierra Nevada, the excellent
Houblon Chouffe IPA, two 9.0% barley wines from Gadds' and Brooklyn
Winter Ale and a superb 10% Black Chocolate Stout. On the draught beer
side we now have Leffe Blonde and the Ginger Marble pump has become a
rotating Marble pump, so you can sample the whole Marble range.
Added 13th December 2009:
More new additions. Karmeliet Tripel, the unique three grained ale is
now on draught. We have mead from Maidenshair in East Sussex, whisky
from Kilchoman (the inaugral release from this Islay farm distillery,
and very good it is too) plus a 30 year old Stathisla and a 36 year old
Invergordon... and some others including a Canadian malt and a new
Japanese dram. There are also some liqueurs from the English Whisky
Company in Norfolk.
Added 8th December 2009:
We have a new draught cider from Aspall's in Suffolk, a new draught
Belgian beer Bacchus Framboise (raspberry). In bottles there is a range
of beers from Fallen Angel, Dunkertons Organic Cider in 330ml bottles,
and a Pumpkin Ale from Brooklyn Brewery. Oh, and some new Brewdog stuff
in bottles....
Added 16th October 2009: We have a new selection of more than 20 new German bottled beers on sale now. Also new on the Belgian front we have Lindemans Faro (a sweetened Lambic) and some new additions to our Whisky range.
Added 1st October 2009: Our Oktoberfest beers are here, we have a selection from Augustiner, Hofbrau, Lowenbrau, Paulaner and Spaten. We also have the special Oktoberfest Wheat beer from Erdinger and from the USA Flying Dog presents Dogtoberfest. For Belgian beer fans we have McChouffe from the Achouffe Brewery!
Updated 25th September 2009: We now have a new rotating Durham beer pump replacing the permanent Durham Magus giving much more variety from this premier brewery, see listings for details Current Beer Listings.
Added 1st September 2009: There's loads new, the menu has been revamped with an enhanced US section, also we now have a selection of bottles from Brewdog including the now legendary Tokyo. We also have some specials from Gadds' of Ramsgate and Thornbridge St Pertersburg whisky cask matured Imperial Russian Stout - all very special! Added 28th April 2009: New Snacks: Martin's been busy again, and we have a whole lotta Beef, Chicken and Fish Jerky. Cockles & Musels alive, alive ooohh - actually they're pickled and taste a lot better for it. For the chocoholic we have a new range of hand made chocolate slabs from a little chocolatier in the Peak District called CocoaDance, you may remember their name from a recent colaboration with Thornbridge Brewery.
